Located in Punta Gorda, Montevideo, just a few meters from the waterfront, M5 is a residential development that takes full advantage of its strategic location within an established neighborhood. It offers privileged views of the urban landscape and the river, integrating harmoniously with the scale and character of the area.
The project consists of two apartment blocks positioned above two levels of parking, on the ground floor and basement. The main volume, with six floors, is complemented by a second block of three floors, which houses the common areas: barbecue area, gym, and laundry facilities.
The design prioritizes connection with the surroundings through generous openings, rear courtyards, and strategically placed voids between the blocks that enhance ventilation, natural light, and the presence of vegetation, improving the environmental quality of each unit. All apartments feature balconies, while the first-floor units offer exclusive-use gardens with barbecues, expanding the residential experience with private outdoor spaces.
At MAG, we accompanied the project through all stages, from the initial feasibility studies to the development of the construction documents, consolidating a contemporary proposal that balances design, quality, and context.
